PHP 5.3 namespaces

PHP 5.3 namespaces

Postby maximebf » Thu Jul 30, 2009 3:43 pm

Hello everybody

Following an email with nWire support (incredibly quick response, you rock!) about PHP 5.3 namespaces support, is anyone interested in such a thing?
I'm currently using PHP 5.3 and its namespaces intensively, and nWire does not work when there are some. It would be great to have this feature.

I signed up just to say, Yes. Namespace support is important.

I'd find no use in nwire if it doesn't support php namespaces

I fully support namespace support in nWire for PHP.
"Luckily" I've lots of legacy code that does not make use of namespaces.
But there already are a few components using namespaces and their number will increase.

Namespaces are the most important new feature of PHP 5.3 (at least in everyday work). So support for namespaces is essentially for nWire IMHO.
